RD Matthews Electrical is currently hiring for the following full-time positions:
LEVEL 2 Electrician
This position requires an individual to have 5-10 years experience in the residential electrical trade, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently. A level 2 mechanic is expected to wire whole houses, additions, garages and other construction projects. Other areas of work include service calls to homeowners for ceiling fans/fixtures, panel upgrades, switches/outlets and other remodeling installations. Troubleshooting skills are a must. Honesty, reliability and teamwork are crucial aspects of this position.
LEVEL 1 Electrician
This position is open to individuals with 2 – 5 years experience in the residential electrical trade. A candidate must be eager to work hard and exhibit integrity in their everyday performance. The ability to follow direction, complete assigned tasks and work well with others are all requirements of this position. Electricians at this entry level are expected to already know basic code, have experience with fishing through walls and wiring basements. The drive to excel, a good attitude and the desire to advance are all aspects of what we are looking for in this position.
APPRENTICE Program
This position requires no experience in the electrical trade, however, an individual will need to have a desire to learn and grow as an electrician. We offer good pay and quality electrical experience to help move your career forward. Our goal is to see you grow to benefit not only our company, but also your future in the field. This is not just a job, it is a step in a good direction for a hands-on person who is ready to learn a beneficial trade.
